OMG: A Keyboard for Blondes!
The keyboard as we know it just got a makeover. What started initially as gag, apparently got so much positive feedback that the creators of the Keyboard for Blondes decided to turn it into a real product. In addition to its distinctive pink color, a unique attribute of the Keyboard for Blondes are the "fun" sayings on 64 of the keys, such as "Oops!" on the Delete key, "The Big One: 'I Need My Space' Key" on the spacebar, or "Yes! I want it!" on the Enter key. A number of the keys also act as special texting shortcuts, such as "OMG" on the O key, "LOL" on the L key, and "XOXO" on the X key. First of all, the Keyboard for Blondes is a real keyboard. It has all the normal functionality you would expect from a traditional keyboard. It has 103 keys, is USB based, and works with both Windows PCs and Macs. Perhaps the most unique feature of the keyboard, however, is that with the proprietary Keynguru software, some of the buttons "talk." The Keyboard for Blondes sells for $49.95.
LOULOU Magazine
A tech gift idea for the girly-girl
A lot of us spend more time at our computers at the office than we do at home, so it makes sense to make your desk/cubicle/office as personal as possible, right? If you have a professional girly-girl on your shopping list, I may have stumbled upon a really fantastic, unique gift idea for under $100. The Keyboard for Blondes is a super fun keyboard that’s pink and has cute sayings on the keys: “Oops!” for Delete, “Somewhat useless key” for Control, “Yes! I Want It!” for Return and so on. While the boys at IT might scoff at it, I think it’s kind of adorable – even for us non-blondes! I can’t help but picture how well it would fit into LOULOU’s all-pink digs…
For years, blondes have been admired and vilified for their hair, from “blondes have more fun” to blonde jokes, there’s definitely something special about being blonde. Now, finally, blondes may have their revenge, in the guise of their own computer keyboard, bright pink, of course (perhaps to match their lipstick). And it’s not only pretty in pink, but the keyboard talks, too (in valley girl talk, Oh My Gosh). Although this reasonably priced ($49.95) keyboard will be popular as a gag gift, it is a fully functional keyboard that is comfortable to use. It will be a hit with blondes, of course, (and their significant others), but you don’t have to be blonde to enjoy it features. Any one can be a blonde with this keyboard, especially if you like pink, then this is a keyboard for you. The keyboard, when used in an office or at school, attracts attention where it lands. Don’t be surprised if a crowd of admirers gather around the keyboard. It is an attention getter, and screams for attention: Blondes do have more fun! And in case you are not blessed with blonde hair, you can still have fun with this keyboard, and don’t be surprised when all of your friends want one, either as a gift or to replace that tired old boring keyboard that came with the computer. The keyboard also makes an important fashion statement. It is definitely more than just a keyboard!need my space" bar. Best of all, there are dedicated keys for such 100-times-a-day texts like "OMG,"
